Daily Quote (and question)
G’day mates!
The quote for today will be preceded by a question: is there any disorder of the mind that causes a phrase to be repeated over and over and over ad nauseum? This has happened to me the past three days; three different phrases have haunted my mind, repeating every few minutes. Today’s quote is the phrase that I’ve heard mentally at least a hundred times today:
“Baby Marzipan”
Of course, that’s completely ridiculous. A marzipan is a paste of ground almonds, sugar, and egg whites that is used to fill and decorate pastries. Why there would ever be a baby pastry decoration I will never know.
